I'm sewing along with Patty of Elm Street Quilts and Kristin of Simply Everyday Handmade in their Hand-Pieced QAL that started this week. Nine blocks, 6 inches each and basic designs to sew. I like having an on-going project with a schedule, especially when I do not have a large project in the works. And I love hand-sewing!
I'm trying to use as many stash fabrics as I can this year; these 3 are from my Aunt Lil's de-stash. The floral caught my eye first & I found the dove grey next. The pink took awhile to find--I rejected 4 other pinks before finding this. The grey will be my background and the pink & floral will be foreground. I'm looking forward to the subtle colored quilt.
I colored my blocks after choosing the fabrics. I may not follow my design, but its a good start.

Finished my 4-patch (Block 1) this morning. Should have trimmed down before photographing, right? Lol, I was too anxious. Oh well. I'll update it later.
