Block 18 - first try. Colors are disappointing in photo... what look like blues all are more purple-y! And the plaid was a thicker fabric than the others, so this is a bit wonky. Next try will be better!
And here's the second try. I'm happy with it!
I made a small quilt with Elizabeth Dackson's 18" string heart from the Splendid Sampler bonus projects. I used all the great tips I learned from this group to make it & I'm REALLY pleased with how it turned out.
I used left-over strips from a Bargello quilt I made in the 90s. I'll write about that quilt later!
Block 15: left is my skill-builder (1st attempt), and right is my final.
(I just finished a paper-pieced quilt with 11x22" blocks, so this block was a simple joy to make!)
